Applications are invited from Indian Nationals fulfilling the prescribed qualifications for
appointment to the under mentioned post:
(i) Name of Post : Scientist-B
Pay scale and allowance: Pay scale of PB-3:-Rs.15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay Rs.5,400/- p.m.
plus allowances as admissible under the rules/orders of the Government of India.
Total No. of Posts: 13 (Unreserved- 06, Reserved for SC-03, ST- 02, OBC-01 and PH- 01).
Description of duties: To conduct research in the relevant field of forestry in ICFRE Institutes.
Total 13 vacancies are available for the post of Scientists B for the discipline of Forest Ecology, Environment Management, Statistics, Chemistry, Information Technology and Hydrology. This post is under the pay scale of Rs. 15600 – 39100/- plus grade pay of Rs. 5400/-. Candidates applying for this position should not be 30 years of age and should posses 1st class degree of M.Sc in the relevant field and also degree of Ph.D is desirable.
