·                 Engineering (E) Branch: Mechanical, Marine, Automotive, Mechtronics, Industrial & Production, Metallurgy, Aeronautical/ Aerospace, Control & Production

·                 Engineering (L) Branch: Electrical, Electronics, Tele Communication, Instrumentation, Instrumentation and Control, Electronics and Instrumentation, Electronics and Communication, Power Engineering, Control System Engineering, Power Electronics, Computer Science Engg., IT, Avionics

Submarine Cadre (E & L)

·                 Engineering Branch Mechanical

·                 Electrical Branch: Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation and Control / Telecommunication

SSC Term: 10 Years        

Age Limit: 19½ to 25 years

Qualifications: BE/B.Tech Engineering Degree

Selection: Service Selection Board (SSB) interviews at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Coimbatore between 11th Aug to 11th Nov, 2011.

Training: Jan 2012 at Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala

·                 Sub Lieutenant: PB-3/15600-39100, GP of Rs.5400, Military Rs.6000

·                 Lieutenant: PB-3/15600-39100, GP of Rs.6100, Military Rs.6000

·                 Lieutenant Cadre: PB-3/15600-39100, GP of Rs.6600, Military Rs.6000

·                 Commander: PB-4/37400-67000, GP of Rs.8000, Military Rs.6000
