Postal Assistants

Sorting Assistants

·                 Vacancies: 4 Posts

·                 Pay-Scales: Rs.5200-20200 + GP of Rs 2400

Postmen

·                 Vacancies: 21 Posts

·                 Pay-Scales: Rs.5200-20200 + GP of Rs 2000

Qualifications

·                 For PA/SA: A pass in 10+2 standard or 12th class pass of a recognized university or Board of School Education or Board of Secondary Education with English as a compulsory subject.

·                 For Postmen: Matriculation or Equivalent.

Age Limit: 18 to 25 years as on 31.8.2011.

Division/Unit: Hyd South East Dn, Secunderabad dn, Hyd City Dn, Hyd GPO, Hyd Sorting Dn, PA Circle Office, PA SBCO, Hyderabad Region, Vijayawada Region, Kurnool Region, Visakhapatnam Region.

Sports Events/Games: Weightlifting/ Powerlifting/ Best Physique (MEN ONLY), Volleyball (MEN ONLY), Kabaddi (MEN ONLY), Athletic (MEN & WOMEN), Cricket (MEN ONLY), Table Tennis(MEN & WOMEN), Chess (MEN ONLY), Carroms (MEN & WOMEN).

Competition: International, National, Inter-University tournaments, National/Sports/games for schools, Physical Efficiency Drive.
