Jammu University inviting applications for the posts of Junior Research Fellow & Field Assistant Vacancies 2011.


Junior Research Fellow


Vacancies: 1 Post
Pay-Scales: Rs.16000 pm + 20% HRA
Qualifications: M.Sc. (Geology)/ M.A. (Geography) with minimum 55% marks. Candidate with NET/SET shall be preferred. Experience of working on glaciers/high altitude terrain shall be preferred.
Field Assistant


Vacancies: 2 Posts
Pay-Scales: Rs.8000 pm (consolidated)
Qualifications: Higher Secondary (10+2) passed. Preference shall be given to those having experience of working on glaciers/high altitude terrain.
Project: Monitoring Snow and Glaciers of Himalayan Region-Phase II.
