Qualifications:
B.Sc / M.Sc. (Chemistry) with higher second class from recognized Universities in India and Diploma in Sugar Technology (AVSI or ANSI) securing minimum 75% marks.
The candidates passed out ANSI/AVSI, Diploma in Sugar Technology in 2007 and onwards only can apply.

2. Junior Research Fellows (JRF) [02] JRF Fellowship will be paid Rs.5000/- per month as per VSI norms.

Eligibility and Qualifications:
The candidates must have M.Sc. in Agricultural Botany/ Agricultural Biotechnology/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences from any reputed Universities with not less than 60% marks or equivalent grades. Preference will be given to the candidates having research experience supported by thesis/ research publications/ NET/SET qualified. The successful candidate should be highly self-motivated, energetic, with good analytical capacity, effective communication, work in team and have a keen interest in the area of Agricultural science.
Fellowship:
The fellowship (JRF) will be paid Rs.5000 pm as per VSI’s norms.
Tenure of appointment:
The tenure of the project is initially for one year and likely to extend for three years based on the performance of the candidate and availability of funds. Selected candidates may register for their Ph.D. degree in any of the Universities where our scientists are recognized by the University.
