Job Designation: J&K Civil Service (Judicial)
Number of Positions: 10 (Ten)
Pay Scale: Rs. 27700-770-33090-920-40450-1080-44770/-
Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Laws of a University established by Law in India; OR A Barrister of England or Northern Ireland or a member of the faculty of Advocates in Scotland or holding any other equivalent law degree recognized by the Government of India. Note : Candidate Must be a Permanent resident of the J&K State as defined in Section 6 of J&K Constitution.
Age Limit: 18 -35 years
Location of Posting: Jammu & Kashmir
Application Fee: Application Forms can be obtained from the office of J&K Public Service Commission, Resham Ghar Colony, Jammu/Polo View, Srinagar on cash payment of Rs.100/- (excluding the processing charges of Rs.10/-) to be paid in cash through the counters of J&K Bank Ltd. Opened in PSC offices at Jammu/Srinagar. Fee: Rs.700/- (Rs.350/- for reserved categories) (Excluding the processing charges of Rs.10/-) to be paid in cash through the counters of J&K Bank opened in PSC offices, Jammu/Srinagar.
Examination Fee: Examination fee of Rs.700/- (Rs.350/- for reserved categories) (Excluding the processing charges of Rs.10/-) to be paid in cash through the counters of J&K Bank opened in PSC offices, Jammu/Srinagar.
How To Apply For Opening: The Application Form should be filled up neatly and correctly. The candidates are required to get the Application Form (duly filled in) photocopied. Photograph duly signed and attested by Ist Class Magistrate should be pasted at the relevant place in Application Form. The candidates are further advised to attach attested copies of documents/testimonials with the photocopy of the Application Form and not with the original Application Form. The Application Forms complete in all respects must reach the Commission’s offices located at Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu/Polo View, Srinagar latest by 31.01.2012 (3.00 PM). Applications received through Speed Post/Courier Services of any type shall be treated as having been received “By Hand” at the Commission’s counter.
Genaral Conditions: 1. Candidate(s) should fill up the Application Form(s) carefully.
2. No column of Application Form should be left blank. 3. Incomplete and incorrectly filled in Application Form shall not be entertained. No representation or correspondence regarding such rejection shall be entertained. 4. The candidate(s) should also note that their admission at all the stages of examination shall be provisional, subject to fulfillment of the prescribed eligibility conditions. 5. If it comes to the notice of the Commission at any time before or after the Main Examination, or Interview, that a candidate does not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions or the candidate has claimed eligibility based on misrepresentation, fraud or concealment of material fact or impersonation, his/her candidature for the examination shall be cancelled and he/she shall be also liable for prosecution/disciplinary action by the Commission which includes debarment from appearing in the future examinations.
