1-Post Name : Assistant Librarian
•Qualifications : Master’s degree in Library Science / Information Science/documentation Science or an equivalent professional Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in the UGC point scale whenever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library. Qualifying in the national level test (NET) conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by UGC is mandatory. However, candidates, who have been awarded PhD degree in accordance with “University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of PhD Degree), Regulations 2009”, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
•Desirable: PG Diploma in Library Automation/Computerization or Networking. Atleast 3 years working experience in library computerization, digital library and/or Networking.Effective communication and interpersonal skills with friendly user orientation.
•Age Limit : 35 Years.
•Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay Rs.10000/-
