Vacancies in BSF for Inspector /Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical) – March 2011

Applications are invited from male Indian citizens for appointment to Group ‘B’ post of Sub Inspector /Junior Engineer (Civil and Electrical) in the Border Security Force:

1) Inspector /Junior Engineer (Civil)         

·          Number of vacancies: 18 (Gen-5, OBC-7, SC-3, ST-3) 

·          Age Limit: Between 18 and 25 years (Age relaxation as per rules)     

·          Pay scale: Rs. 9,300-34,800/- , Grade pay 4,200/-    

·          Qualification: Minimum three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by Central/ State Government.        

2) Inspector /Junior Engineer (Electrical)    

·          Number of vacancies: 13 (Gen-2, OBC-6, SC-3, ST-2)          

·          Age Limit: Between 18 and 25 years (Age relaxation as per rules)     

·          Pay scale: Rs. 9,300-34,800/- , Grade pay 4,200/-         

·          Qualification: Minimum three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by Central/ State Government.
