Job Position : Software Engineer – Web Technologies

Job Description :
• Will be responsible for design and development of clients’ websites according to specification.
Desired Profile :
1. Understands technical and functional design requirements.
2. Designs, codes, and tests technical solutions.
3. Responsible for the design, development and maintenance of company web pages
4. To assist in social media and search engine optimization.
5. In depth understanding of fundamentals of web technologies including (X)HTML, CSS, AJAX, Javascript, Web Standards
6. Good understanding of client side scripting using JavaScript
7. Good understanding of server side scripting in a language like PHP
8. Basic knowledge of database design and SQL.
9. Basic knowledge of one or more Javascript frameworks like jQuery, YUI, Scriptaculous etc.
10. Knowledge of HTML5 an added advantage
11. The candidate must have strong communication and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
12. Prior experience developing web applications in a professional or academic capacity is a plus.
