Recruitment of Females candidates in IAF for courses commencing in July 2012 for grant of SSC in various Branches – June 2011

Applications are invited from Female Indian Citizens as per Citizens as per Citizenship Act 1955 for the following courses commencing in July 2012 for grant of Short Service Commission in Flying , Technical and Ground Duty Branches .

Course Details

1. Flying Branch

•           Course: No. 39 Short Service Commission Course (Women) (39 SSC (W))

•           Age : 19-23 Years an on 01.07.2012 i.e. born between 01.07.1989 and 01.07.1993

•           Pysical Standards : Height & Weight : Min. Height -162.5 cms with correlated weight , Leg Length : Min-99 cms , Max-120 cms . Thigh Length : Max-64 cms. Sitting Height – 81.5 cms , Max-96 cms.

2. Technical Branch

•           Course: No. 53 Short Service Commission Course (Women) (53 SSC (W))

•           Age : 18-28 Years an on 01.07.2012 i.e. born between 02.07.1984 and 01.07.1994 (both dates inclusive)

•           Pysical Standards : Height & Weight : Min. Height – Women – 152 cms with correlated weight

3. Ground Duty Branches

•           Course: No. 41 Short Service Commission Course (Women) (41 SSC (W))

•           Age : For Graduates : 20 to 23 Years , For Post Graduates / LLB (Five Years Integrated Courses) : 20 to 25 Years , For LLB (Three years course after Graduation) : 20 to 26 Years , For M.Ed. / Ph.d / CA / ICWA : 20 to 27 Years

•           Pysical Standards : Height & Weight : Minimum Height – Women – 152 cms with correlated weight
