Sikkim Government is looking for candidates having best qualifications and experience. An advertisement has been released in the official website of Sikkim PSC for the recruitment of various posts of post Graduate Teachers through direct recruitment on temporary / permanent basis for the Government schools under Human Resource Development Department for various subjects. Interested candidates can apply latest by 5th August 2011.
Total 158 vacancies are for the post of Post Graduate Teachers [ PGT ] for the subject of Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, English, Economics, Nepali, Hindi and Commerce. This post is under the pay scale of Rs. 9300 – 34800/- with GP Rs. 5000/-. Candidates applying for this posts should posses masters degree in the relevant subject with degree of B.Ed. Teaching experience and Honours at graduation level along with a valid local employment card is desirable. And also candidates age should be between 18 – 30 years.
Selection will be based on written exam which will contain 3 papers of General English, General Knowledge, Main Subjects. After clearing written exam, candidates has to go through a personality test .
