NIT, Kurukshetra requires Assistant Professors on contract basis in the disciplines of Civil, Electrical, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering & Management, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Engg. / Information Technology. Candidates having B.Tech. Degree in Civil / Environmental Engineering followed by M.Tech.Degree in Environmental Engineering are also eligible for the Department of Civil Engineering.

Walk-in-interview for Assistant Professors on Contract basis
Minimum Qualifications for recruitment of Assistant Professors in various Engineering & Technology Deptts. on contract basis.
M. Tech. with First class or equivalent grade at Masters or Bachelors Degree level in appropriate discipline of engineering and technology.
Candidates having B.Tech. Degree in Civil / Environmental Engineering followed by M.Tech. Degree in Environmental Engineering are also eligible for the Department of Civil Engineering.
Other General Conditions:-
1. The appointments will be on contract basis for a period of one year at consolidated salary of Rs. 30,000/-pm.
2. The services of a contractual appointee can be terminated without assigning any reason on one month’s notice in writing on either side or on payment of one month salary in lieu thereof.
3. Any dispute will fall under the jurisdiction of Distt. Kurukshetra Deputy Registrar (GA&L)
