NIT, Kurukshetra requires Assistant Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer
(Civil) on short-term contract basis for the Construction Cell of the Institute.
Interested candidates may appear for walk-in-interview on 25.08.2011
at 10.30 a.m. in the office chamber of the Director of the Institute alongwith all
original and attested copies of certificates. The candidates may report at 9.30
a.m. on the above date in the Establishment Section of the Institute for
verification of documents.
The qualification and other terms & conditions are as under:-
1. Assistant Engineer (Civil) = 01
Essential Qualification:
B.E. (Civil) with two years relevant experience.
OR
3 years Diploma in Civil Engg. with 8 years relevant experience.
2. Junior Engineer (Civil) = 01
Essential Qualification:
Degree in Civil Engineering with at least one year field experience or
Diploma in Civil Engineering with 3 Years field experience.
Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidates who have executed
constructions of multistory building and who are conversant with
preparation of estimate and execution of work as per PWD/ CPWD norms
and have proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office, etc.
Other General Conditions
1. The services of a contractual appointee can be terminated at any time
by the Director of the Institute without assigning any reason.
2. The candidate should not be above 60 years at the time of
engagement.
3. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PH as per Government Guidelines.
4. Salary will be as per rules.
5. The Institute reserves the right not to fill the post.
6. Any dispute will fall under the jurisdiction of Distt. Kurukshetra.
