Educational Qualification:
(i) Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science from a recognized University or Institute;or
(ii) Degree from a recognized University or Institute with Diploma in Library Science from a recognised Institute;
(iii) Working experience in a Library under the Central Government or State Government or Autonomous Organisations or Public Sector Undertaking.
Desirable Qualification:
(i) Experience in computerization of library activities;
(ii) Certificate in Computer applications from a recognised Institute.
Age Limit: 30 years

Job Designation: Library Clerk
Scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs.1900/- in PB-1
Educational Qualification:
(i) 12th Class or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
(ii) Certificate in Library Science from a recognized Institute.
Age Limit: 18-25 years
 
Job Number: 03
Job Designation: Library Attendant
Scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs.1800/- in PB-1
Educational Qualification:
(i) 12th Class Pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
Age Limit: 18-25 years
