Applications are invited for the temporary posts of Research Associate (One) and Senior Research Fellows (Two) under the ICAR-NAIP project “Innovations in Technology Mediated Learning: An Institutional Capacity Building in using Re-usable Learning Objects in Agro-horticulture”. The details of posts, qualifications and terms and conditions are as follows:
1. Research Associate (RA)
Number of Position: One
Place of working: School of Agriculture, IGNOU, New Delhi
Qualification: M.Sc. (Ag.) and/or Ph.D. in Horticulture / Post Harvest Technology / Plant protection /Agronomy / Soil Science / Agricultural Economics / Agricultural Extension/Agriculture
Desirables: Experience in Information and Communication Technology in Agro-horticulture.
2. Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Number of position: One
Place of working: School of Agriculture, IGNOU, New Delhi
Qualification: M.Sc. in Entomology / Pathology / Nematology / Plant protection /Agronomy / Soil Science / Agriculture
Desirables: Experience in Information and Communication Technology in Agro-horticulture
3. Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Number of position: One
Place of working: ICRTA, IGNOU Regional Centre, Agartala, Tripura
Qualification: M.Sc. (Ag.) in Horticulture / Post Harvest Technology / Plant protection /Agronomy / Soil Science / Agricultural Economics / Agricultural Extension/Agriculture
Desirables: Experience in Information and Communication Technology in Agro-horticulture
Terms and Conditions:
1. The post of RA and SRF is purely time bound / temporary/contractual engagement and co-terminus with the concerned project. The selected candidate will have no right what so ever for absorption/regularization in the University.
2 Age Limit:
(i) RA: Men: 40 years & Women: 45 years (ii) SRF: Men: 35 years & Women: 40 years (relaxable to SC/ST/OBC & PH as per Government of India rules).
3. Emoluments: (i) RA- Rs.23000.00 + HRA for M.Sc. and Rs.24,000.00 + HRA for Ph.D degree holders per month (ii) SRF- Rs.16000.00 + HRA per month (consolidated)
