Eligible and interested candidates may attend the Interview for engagement for purely temporary basis as
Project Assistants on contract basis in the Projects under CSIR Network Scheme and Grant-in-aid Projects
sponsored by Govt. Agencies tenable at Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Lucknow in various
disciplines detailed as under:
Post Name : Project Assistant
•Qualifications :- M. Sc. (First class) in any area of Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Life sciences/ Botany/ Plant sciences/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology ,Experience of handling DNA, RNA, proteins, raising antibodies, development of diagnostic tools and knowledge of basic Bioinformatics tools.
•Desirable : One year experience in any government R&D laboratory/ University/ Institute or M. Sc. In any branches of Life Sciences is preferable.
•No of Post : 01
•Age Limit : 28 Years
HOW TO APPLY : - Interested candidates may appear in written test /Interview before the Committee at time 9.00AM to 11.00AM on the respective date mentioned as above for the respective area/Project in the Conference Room of this Institute for interview alongwith their signed Bio-Data on plain paper giving declaration about close relatives, if any, working in CIMAP/CSIR and option for place of posting at CIMAP Hqrs.
