Walk-in Interview

A Walk-in-Interview will be held at 10.00 a.m. on 12th September, 2011 in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University, Napaam, Tezpur for 01 (one) position of Project Assistant for the DBT sponsored research project “Assessment of thrombolytic potential and anticancer activity of fibrinolytic enzymes purified from Russell’s viper venom and bacteria isolated from NE-India” under the Principal Investigator Prof. A.K.Mukherjee, Department of Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Tezpur University.

Educational Qualification: Candidate should be B.Sc. (Hons.) from a recognized University in any branches of Life Science (with chemistry as one of the subjects)/ Chemical Sciences with 55% marks for General Category and 50% marks for SC/ST/OBC/ physically challenged candidates.

Desirable: One year experience in any government R&D laboratory/ University/ Institute or M. Sc. In any branches of Life Sciences is preferable.

Age: Candidate should not be more than 26 years of age (B. Sc. candidate) or 28 years of age (M.Sc. candidate) on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidate belonging SC/ ST/OBC/Women / physically challenged / experienced candidates.

Remuneration: Rs 8,000 p.m. (Consolidated).

Duration: Appointment will be initially for a period of one year which may be extended further depending upon satisfactory performance of the incumbent and co-terminus with the project.

.Interested candidates may appear for the interview alongwith a copy of their detailed biodata with 02(two) copies of recent passport size photograph and original certificates etc. in respect of educational qualification, experience etc.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
